My vibraphone and piano duo The Utterance and the Space, which was written in memory of David Macbride, will be performed as part of a four-day concert series running from October 2-5 dedicated to David. The Friday, October 4 concert features works written in his memory by alumni and colleagues. The first two nights feature David’s own chamber and percussion music, and the final night, his larger-scale works for wind ensemble.
