Four movements from my ongoing journal piece, Overlooks, will be performed on this live-streamed concert put on by June in Buffalo and the Center for 21st Century Music at the University of Buffalo. They’ll be tackled by four absolutely wonderful players - Eric Huebner, piano; Tom Kolor, vibraphone; Shannon Reilly, violin; and Jonathan Golove, cello. I had the pleasure of working with all of them on the recording of all eight movements of Overlooks back in June, and they brought the piece to life in a way it never had been.
Overlooks will share the program with new works by Oliver Kwapis and Daniel De Togni.
