Aqueeressence (Yoshi Weinberg, flute, and Daniel Schreiner, piano) will give the premiere of my piece Finite Things in Elebash Recital Hall at the CUNY Graduate Center. The concert is free - not tickets required - and is also being livestreamed here (passcode: 544624).

The program, also called “Finite Things,” is Aqueeressence’s debut recital and includes “world premieres of Brian Simalchik’s “Finite Things” and Camila Agosto’s “Just Enough to Breathe,” along with works by Amy Williams, Nina Shekhar, and queer improvisations. This concert presents music that explores the unconventional possibilities for grieving, healing, and empowerment through fragmented, wordless expression.”
